His race record of 6 starts, 5 wins and 1 second included magnificent victories in the world's greatest 2 year old race the Group 1 Golden Slipper and the Group 1 AJC Sires Produce Stakes, as well as the prestigious Breeders Plate and Canonbury Stakes. His heart stopping 2nd (by a short head) in the Group 1 Champagne Stakes displayed his superb fighting quality. The Star Thoroughbreds SEBRING owners enjoyed a day they will remember for a lifetime.     With regular jockey Blake Shinn on the suspended list Glen Boss scored the coveted ride. After missing the start and settling well back the colt was quickly sent forward by Boss along the fence, eventually settling three back in the running line. He travelled sweetly into the turn and all he needed on straightening was a clear run. Half way up the straight the gap appeared and SEBRING did the rest, sprinting quickly to dash through and grab Group 1 winning honours in the world's greatest 2 year old race!      Sebring, unbeaten in four starts, was purchased by Denise Martin for $143,000 (inc GST) at the 2007 Magic Millions Sale and has now won an amazing  $2,178,800 in prizemoney.           CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNING OWNERS:  James Hazzisevastos, Team Henderson Racing Syndicate - David and Luke Henderson, Shahen Mekertichian, Margaret Butler, John and Anne McDonnell, Denise Dunphy, Brian Leonard, Joseph Screnci, Wendy Mullens.               Star Thoroughbreds owners, Shahen Mekertichian and Wendy and Aubrey Mullens race Golden Slipper candidate Sebring together. When Sebring's owners met for the first time Shahen and the Mullens family learned that they are not only Manly residents, but live in the same street! The odds of that happening are certainly longer than that of Sebring's in the Golden Slipper.
