We received a lovely email from long-term stable owner Lance Yates, following promising 2-year-old Betrayal's great win at Canterbury earlier in the week: Dear Denise
A big thank you and your staff for the skill and dedication in selecting Betrayal. Yes, he should provide some fun for all involved.
Obviously a big thank you to Gai and her crew.. They always present themselves and horses in the highest order.. And we appreciate being on the Waterhouse juggernaut..
And finally, it is such a great position to be in, when Nash is unavailable, to put another star like Tommy Berry on.. Horses lose nothing with him on .. I watched him ride a race in the S.A Derby.. And I thought to myself what a cracking ride.. I know he didn't win but he appeared to do everything perfectly.. Once again, we lose nothing with Tommy on board and I have no fear when I see him listed.. He is heading for greatness and I am sure Gai will take him there. Thanks for everything.. See you at Betrayals' next start.. |
