A very worthwhile trip to WA

2012-08-08 (Latest News)
Talented 4 year old gelding CITY OF LIGHT ( Fastnet Rock - Munchie ) looks to have a highly promising future if his ATC win today at Newcastle over 1,300 metres is any measure. Gai and I travelled to Perth for the 2010 WA Magic Millions yearling sales and this Fastnet Rock colt, in our view, was the nicest horse in the sale. He was always big and rangy as a yearling and has taken the time to strengthen and fill out his big frame, but his last two dominant front running victories have shown us that he is truly a horse going places! Tommy Berry rode CITY OF LIGHT to perfection and his comment that the gelding " keeps surprising me with his turn of foot and ability " explains how CITY OF LIGHT has just gone from strength to strength this preparation.

Congratulations elated CITY OF LIGHT owners John Leggett, Francis Kennedy, Barbara Kennedy, Edward Winter, Richard Smith, Marcus Higgins, Maurice Chester, Sally Edge.
