Congratulations to the owners of 3 year old filly DREAM EMPRESS (Holy Roman Emperor (IRE) - Every Dream) on her first career win from 3 starts this afternoon at Gosford. Starting from barrier 13, a masterful ride from Tommy Berry enabled the filly to work across and travel just outside the leader for the first half of the 1,200 metres event. At the turn DREAM EMPRESS was put under pressure by Tommy and the filly responded in terrific fashion, finding the line very strongly to win by just under a length and a half. It was a determined effort by the filly and brought smiles to the faces of her owners from Hobart to Melbourne and throughout New South Wales.
