INVINCIBELLA makes an impressive winning return to the races

2017-09-28 (Latest News)
INVINCIBELLA ended her 3 year old campaign with a very solid run in the Group 1 Queensland Oaks when defeated only 2 lengths. She enjoyed a spell in the Queensland winter sun and her impressive win yesterday when resuming at Rosehill Gardens suggests that she is in for a very nice spring preparation.

INVINCIBELLA jumped on terms and jockey Hugh Bowman settled her midfield in a three wide position with cover in the early stages of the 1,300 metres event. Hugh began to roll forward on the mare at the 700 metres mark and although three wide, INVINCIBELLA looked to be trekking into the race well. On straightening, Hugh enabled the mare to balance and she let down strongly to win by half a length in advance of the other well fancied runner from the Godolphin stable

Congratulations to winning INVINCIBELLA owners Francis Kennedy, Barbara Kennedy, Paramount Racing (Manager: Kathryn Wood), Andrew Grant-Taylor, Matthew Stiff, Michael Birchall, Catherine Birchall, Russell West, P & S Glenney & S McKee Racing (Manager: Patti Glenney), Ray Aurisch, Helen Aurisch, Boeara Holdings (Manager: Denise Dunphy).
