TWILIGHTER (NZ) relishes the step up in distance and wins 2018-04-24
Being by dual hemisphere Group 1 winner Reliable Man (GB), 3 year old filly TWILIGHTER (NZ) has inherited not only her dad's striking grey colouring, but also his staying power when she broke through for her first win on Saturday over 2,000 metres. The filly lined up at Kembla Grange with Mitchell Bell aboard and the pair settled towards the rear of the field during the early stages of the race.

REVOLVER wins in determined fashion at Newcastle 2018-04-16
History was made at Royal Randwick on Saturday as WINX recorded her 25th straight win and our trainer Chris Waller along with his dedicated team recorded a brilliant treble of Group 1 wins on the day. Chris and his team also had their hard work rewarded at Newcastle when our 4 year old gelding REVOLVER returned to the winner's circle second up this preparation following an extended period on the sidelines.

VELADERO resumes with an excellent win at Warwick Farm  2018-04-12
It's been a busy week for the thoroughbred industry in NSW with the ATC autumn racing carnival in full swing and the Inglis Easter yearling sale underway at the same time. Racing at Warwick Farm was conducted this week on Wednesday midway through the sale. Courtesy of a brilliant ride by Hugh Bowman and masterful placement by Chris and his team, our 4 year old gelding VELADERO resumed with a terrific win over 1,400 metres.

VELOCITA resumes with an impressive win on Easter Monday 2018-04-04
Our 3 year old Sebring filly VELOCITA went to the paddock following her first full preparation with the stable team having a good opinion of her ability. She justified that belief on Monday at Rosehill Gardens when she resumed with an impressive win over 1,400 metres.

CELLARMAN wins the Group 3 Doncaster Prelude 2018-04-03
CELLARMAN has been a model of consistency this entire preparation and last Saturday at Rosehill Gardens was the icing on the cake when he recorded his 7th victory this time in training winning the Group 3 Doncaster Prelude.

D'ARGENTO wins the 2018 Group 1 Rosehill Guineas 2018-03-26
The racing world was focused on Rosehill Gardens last Saturday for the 2018 Golden Slipper day; a nine race programme crammed full of world class racing including remarkably 5 Group 1 races. History was written as the great WINX broke the world record when winning her 17th Group 1 race. Chris and Hugh Bowman then shortly after combined again in the following race to secure a Group 1 double when our very talented So You Think (NZ) colt D'ARGENTO stormed home to win the prestigious Rosehill Guineas.

A Two State Double for our Purple and White Stars  2018-03-23
It was a great thrill to firstly watch IT'S CHOUX TIME (NZ) win at Ipswich yesterday and then to be followed by 3 year old Your Song gelding CEDARWOOD who won in very good style with the aid of a beautiful ride by Hugh Bowman at Newcastle.

GRESHAM wins well courtesy of a very good front running ride 2018-03-22
A plan to ride our 3 year old gelding GRESHAM forward in the 1,600 metres maiden at the midweek ATC metropolitan meeting at Gosford yesterday was developed by our trainer and executed perfectly by Blake Shinn. It achieved the desired result with an all the way win on the board for GRESHAM after a string of "close to the money" placings.

BALEARIC disposes of his maiden at Ipswich  2018-03-01
A move to the Chris Waller Gold Coast stable has benefited our 3 year old Smart Missile gelding BALEARIC as he broke through for his maiden win at Ipswich yesterday. Jockey Jim Byrne pushed forward on the gelding from the barriers and the pair settled in 4th position early on in the 1,350 metres event.

CELLARMAN continues his brilliant preparation  2018-02-27
When CELLARMAN won his previous start at Rosehill Gardens, Chris Waller said in his post race interview that "Winx may be an owner's fairytale, but CELLARMAN is every owner's dream" and we couldn't agree more.

From last to first for a huge win by FORTENSKY at Doomben 2018-02-20
In a performance which needed to be seen to be believed at Doomben on Saturday 4 year old gelding FORTENSKY jumped in the air as the barriers opened and found himself at the rear of the field in the 1,350 metres Class 6 on the programme.

ASTERIUS and Kerrin McEvoy win the first race at Canterbury  2018-02-19
When the late, very great veterinarian Dr Percy Sykes said "the best medicine of all for horses is the one which many owners wish to use least of all ...time" he was certainly on the mark. That philosophy has been borne out over the years as having a large element of accuracy without question, but the mental maturity of a horse is also often the key to their success a little later in their careers.

AQUATIC wins again on a 5 day back up at Warwick Farm 2018-02-15
AQUATIC was an impressive winner under lights last Friday night at Canterbury Park and whilst Chris appreciated that it was a quick back up for the gelding to race at Warwick Farm yesterday, he was of the opinion that a 1,600 metres race on the programme was ideal for AQUATIC...and he was right. Another masterful training effort!

AQUATIC shines under lights at Canterbury Park 2018-02-13
AQUATIC and visiting Irish jockey Declan McDonogh went one better than their previous start when taking out the 1,550 metres event in convincing fashion at Canterbury Park on Friday night. The combination were narrowly beaten at Warwick Farm on Australia Day over the shorter distance of 1,400 metres so it was exciting for the owners of AQUATIC to be back in the winner's circle at last.

2018 Inglis Classic Yearling Purchases 2018-02-12
We secured a number of gorgeous yearlings at the 2018 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale to race in our purple and white stars.

RAW EMOTION wins in determined fashion at Kembla Grange 2018-02-08
At Kembla Grange on Tuesday, 3 year old filly RAW EMOTION broke through for her maiden win at only her third career start. In the colours of Nick Vass Bloodstock, the filly jumped well from her inside barrier for jockey Glyn Schofield and the pair settled nicely in third position during the early stages of the 1,600 metres event.

Another Saturday double for our purple and white stars 2018-02-05
As the Sydney autumn carnival began, it was a great thrill to have our Star horses again win 2 races on a Saturday, this time at Rosehill Gardens. The Widden Stakes for 2 year old fillies was won in great style by FIESTA. The I Am Invincible filly had a checkered passage in the Gimcrack, the first 2 year old race for fillies in NSW for the season which was run in the spring. With Kerrin McEvoy aboard on Saturday, FIESTA jumped from the barrier and made contact with the filly in the next stall.

FORTENSKY wins at Canterbury and races past $200,000  2018-02-05
If there was a "vote" for Star's most consistent performer then 4 year old gelding FORTENSKY would clearly be a major contender. With 5 wins and 8 placings from 17 race starts he has consistently raced well in his 18 months race career to date. His very determined win at Canterbury Park on Friday night was another example of a genuine racehorse continuing to improve with time...

Star's Royal Randwick Saturday Double 2018-01-22
We always ask new owners what it is that they're hoping for when looking to buy an interest in a horse for the first time. The reply is often that they would love to win a race in the metropolitan area, so it was a thrill once again on Saturday for 2 of our Star horses to win on the programme at Royal Randwick.

MONTEVIDEO wins at Kilmore courtesy of a masterful ride  2018-01-22
As a late season 2 year old Husson (ARG) gelding MONTEVIDEO was still a slow to mature individual who was taking an eternity to get "mind and body" together to the point where he was able to best display his talent on the track. Early barrier trials in Sydney weren't encouraging, so Chris and his team decided that Victoria would be a good spot for the gelding because of the wide variety of tracks quite close to Melbourne....
